Established in 1993, Purchasing Systems Limited (PSL) is a leader in fresh food procurement, providing solutions and services to help their clients improve operating margins.
Back in 2011, the company was reliant on spreadsheets to manage vast amounts of data. PSL’s team were burdened with the inefficiencies that come from manual data entry, processing and reporting. As a result, PSL approached Click to look first at their rebate management processes.
What we did
Within six months, we delivered a bespoke software solution to gather, organise and make sense of their rebate data. By automating mundane, manual processes, this helped set their people free to focus on more productive activities.
This initial project formed the bedrock of what has grown into a full, enterprise solution – centralising data, improving efficiency and providing operational insight right across the business.

With automated data management and processing systems in place, PSL has also been able to innovate rapidly and create new revenue streams by delivering market-leading, cost saving products and services.
These systems and applications, developed for PSL by Click, include Recipe Allergen Management and Procure to Pay solutions, all aimed at helping clients across the catering industry improve their operating margins through smarter, real-time decision making.
The software and applications developed by Click played an important role in the sale of PSL to Sodexo in 2016.
